I’m excited to introduce this weekly series that I will be running for the month of September that I’ve dubbed What the Klassen’s Read. Raeca and I are always frequenting the library – I think we average about 3 visits a week and of course we never leave empty handed.
Today’s list includes a few of Raeca’s recent favorites (that I can also handle reading) and coming up in the month I’ll be sharing some of our favorite audio books and some of my favorite fiction and non-fiction I’ve been enjoying.
This week I’m also starting to get out children’s books on specific countries to read with Raeca. We are currently learning about Canada and next week South Africa!
Do you have any books for kids that you would recommend?

WHITNEY @ JOURNEY MERCIES
Whitney blogs over at Journey Mercies, her and her husband have been serving in Cambodia for the last few years and are almost ready to make their transition back to the US. She has spent a lot of time abroad and is more than qualified to write posts such as When Culture Shock Feels Like Drowning. I love all the insights into life and culture in Cambodia and she has definitely made me interested in seeing Cambodia for myself one day. Her recent post about goals inspired me to make my own life vision a few weeks ago and I feel so much more self aware since doing so.
SIGN UP FOR MY NEWSLETTER!
Hi Friend, I would love for you to sign up for my seasonal-ish newsletter! I would love to send it monthly but I feel like in this season of my life that will probably not happen but I would like to commit to sending one out at least every three months.
In the newsletter you can expect little (or big!) life updates, what I've been reading in the Bible, and all sorts of resources I've been loving and lessons God has been teaching me.
