thought dump

I have so many different things on my mind right now, many that I want to share, so I thought I would do it all in one post.

About a month ago I came across this wonderful woman looking to partner up with an organization in Africa that worked with orphans. I told her about Victory Community Care Services (the organization that we got to work with/visit last year). She got in touch with Pastor Edward and a month later she has launched Be the 1:27 -they will be helping to fundraise for VCCS. And let me tell you VCCS is legit. They have a children’s home, a home for boys that they got off the streets, a primary school, an amazing church, and many other aspects to the organization that we didn’t get a chance to see. If you have a chance, check out the Get Involved page on Be the 1:27. I can’t wait to see how they are able to help out in southern Uganda!

I just got a cool phone call in regards to this post and this one. God is definitely pushing me out of my comfort zone, but that’s what He does!

In adoption news, we’ve got some stuff happening right now. Hopefully I can share soon (and no, it’s not a referral). We would appreciate your continued prayers.

A recent canvas I made. Never stop praying. That’s where I am right now.

Ok, I think that’s all . . . until I hit publish and then I’ll remember a bunch more thoughts. πŸ™‚
